A new nose, grown by surgeons on Xiaolian's forehead, is pictured before being transplanted to replace the original nose.

In January,British Doctors grew a nose on a mans arm after he lost his original to cancer
How Come Nigerians Doctors are only curing typhoid and malaria and one hardly hears that they have excelled in any new break through medically.
Should we assume that Nigerian Universities have become stereotyped with how they teach these students in the medical field or should we once again blame the governement for not concentrating on health issues in Nigeria or investing in Doctors?
Abroad, the government always provides special funds for doctors to do research work and they do not need to be told to do so,these monies come with their budget and is no big deal,is this also the case in Nigeria?
I am just wondering if there are no Doctors in Nigeria who can go in a lab in Nigeria somewhere and after a while come out and show us something that can give the common Nigerian hope?
