However, some group homosexuals are posed to tackle the President on the issue as they have planned to stage a protest in Abuja to press home their demands. The individuals, under the aegis of ‘The Right Defense’, said on Saturday that they would hold a demonstration in Abuja.
They are protesting against the anti-gay law which took effect on 7 January, 2014, describing it as "undemocratic and unlawful discrimination” of gays and lesbians and trans-genders in Nigeria.
