Anita Joseph and Afro Candy deny charging N7,000 for audition

Wait o! So people went for Afro Candy's audition and even paid N7,000 for it? Hian! I thought popular opinion about her soft porn movies aren't favourable? So who are the people that went for the audition - Nollywood actors? Anyway, here's what happened - Afro Candy held an audition for her new movie with the help of her new BBF, actress Anita Joseph. At the audition venue, people were made to pay N7,000 before they can be auditioned not to talk of being cast in the movie.

So, Punch Punch contacted Anita on the issue and she immediately said, she had nothing to do with charging the wannabe actors N7,000:

“I was not the one that called for auditioning. It is not my business, it is Afro Candy’s job and I do not know if any money was collected. I just helped in with the casting. I do not know anything about that and I do not know why they would mention my name. When I got there, people were already leaving so I don’t know why they would mention my name. Why would people be talking such rubbish? When I came, people were already leaving so what is my business with that,” she said. Continue...

On her part, Afro candy didn't deny collecting the money but "rudely" said, the N7, 000 was ‘membership fee.’

“They have to be a part of my company before they can feature in my movie. Other people in the industry do it and they even charge as high as N10, 000 or more. Most times, they don’t even bother to feature these people. People knew what I was coming for because I advertised it on the poster. You should go and do your f**king research before calling me,” she rudely fired back before cutting off the line.
