The deputy governor was indicted for misconduct by a seven-man panel put together to probe several allegations filed against him.
The lawmakers unanimously voted for his impeachment after adopting the panel’s report.
The impeachment proceeding was presided over by the Speaker, Eugene Odo, while the House Leader, Hon. S.K.E Udeokoye, moved the motion which was unanimously adopted.
