Suicide Bombers Recently Attack Jos Mosque And Many Were Feared Dead

 A bomb has exploded in Jos, Plateau state, central Nigeria, in the midst of a gathering of muslims listening to some sermons on Islam.

In later developments, the police said the blasts were two, one at a restaurant and another targeting a Muslim cleric who has disowned Islamist militant group Boko Haram in the past, several sources said.

Plateau State police spokesman Emmanuel Abuh confirmed there had been two attacks in Jos but had no further details immediately.

A suicide bomber killed six people at a church in northeast Nigeria earlier on Sunday at the end of a week in which suspected Boko Haram insurgents killed more than 200 people.
