With all the drama Wizkid is going through at the moment, it’s good to know that someone is taking his side.
He has been accused of charging excessively for collaboration from fellow artistes, Samklef and lately Saeon, have come forward.
Rapper,
Olamide has come out to defend Wizkid. Saeon in a recent Instagram post
alleged that Wizkid was paid #1.5 million to feature on her song
‘Boogie down’ and he couldn’t even acknowledge her with a retweet about
the song when it was released.
With
the news going viral, fans have been seeking out other artistes who
have featured Wizkid on songs, asking them how much they paid.
A
few minutes ago, a fan tweeted at Olamide asking the Bariga born rapper
who raps in Yoruba language, him how much he paid Wizkid to feature on
his 2011 hit single, ‘Omo to shan.’ In a manner reflecting maturity but
which might not be the actual truth, Olamide replied saying: ‘He did it for free .. Let my nigga be great.’…
