Three children die in fire outbreak in Amuwo Odofin, after their mum locked them inside

A fire incident has claimed the lives of three young children in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. The kids, ages 10, 7 and 6 months old and their mother had returned from church where a special service was allegedly conducted for kids to avert any calamity. According to blogger Stella Dimokorkus, when they got back from church,their mum locked them up in the house at 9pm, then left to an unknown location leaving the candle on.

Apparently, the kids were asleep and the candle burnt down and caught fire. Above is the picture of the burning house. People in the neighbourhood became alerted when they discovered there was a fire outbreak around 10pm. Unfortunately, before help could reach them, the kids who were trapped inside the locked house, burnt beyond recognition.
 

The father of the kids, was called by neighbours and he reportedly rushed home to try rescue them, but by this time, the flames were said to be much.

This is so sad! No adult or parent should leave little children unattended to, more so, in a locked house and at night for that matter.
