News reviews as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced they are calling their new baby boy Saint West, a name that left many wondering why.
Now the meaning behind the most unusual moniker has been revealed.
Saint was chosen because Kim and Kanye feel this child is truly ‘a blessing’ in their lives ‘because she had such a difficult pregnancy,’ a source E! News.
Meanwhile, Saint West is not as uncommon as North West. According to the
Social Security Administration’s database of baby names, 32 boys born last year were named Saint.
That’s more than the 13 kids born last year who were named North. “Saint” is a more popular name than “North.”
There’s even a rapper named Saint West!
