News flash has it that the director of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu who was arraigned today, Wednesday, December 23rd before a Federal High Court in Abuja amid heavy security presence, has objected to

The federal High Court judge, Justice Ahmed Mohammed, recused himself from hearing treason charges brought by the government against Nnamdi Kanu.
He announced the decision after Nnamdi Kanu objected to the case, saying it was needless, as the federal government had repeatedly disobeyed previous court rulings.

Meanwhile, online reports reveal that outside the court premises, scores of heavily armed police officers were seen jumping down from a long truck. Both uniform and non-uniform security operatives can be seen around the court house.
