Latest education reaching us has it that A female hostel in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka has been engulfed by fire.
The hostel gutted by fire was the Okeke female hostel of the University.
According to an eye-witness, the fire started as a result of a spark from the wire when the school generator supplied power to the hostel.
It was gathered that the incident was so unprecedented that
neither the Dean of student affairs, the director of works department nor the Chairman of Servicom who came around was able to save the situation.
