Woman Arrested For Spraying Husband With Pepper Because He Farts in Bed

News reaching us has it that A 55-year-old woman, Dawn Meikle, allegedly attacked her husband in bed because he would not stop farting in bed.

According to Investigators in Port St. Lucie, Florida, the woman was arrested after police said she attacked her husband for passing gas one too many times.

News station, WPTV reports that according to a police report , an officer responded in the early hours to a domestic battery call at a home. The officer said the woman's husband, Donald Meikle, was lying in bed with his wife when he passed gas. She then began elbowing him on his arm.

Donald said he carried on passing gas and his wife continued to elbow and kick him again. He began restraining his wife for his own safety but her "lip was inadvertently split open," according to the report.

During the fight, police said the husband suffered several scratches up to eight inches long across his chest. His shirt was also ripped in three different places before his wife used pepper-spray on him in a bid to keep him out of the bathroom.

Meikle was charged with domestic battery and taken to the St. Lucie County jail.
