News As Man Stabs Friend with Broken Bottle Over N200 Burial Levy

Latest gist on our desk has it that A young man was stabbed by his friend yesterday evening because he couldn't complete the burial fee that was levied on him, eye witness recounts. The gory incident took place in onitsha, Anambra state. More pics below...

 

The total amount for the burial is N1,000 but the victim brought N800 naira and promised to complete the money the following day according to reports on social media. The person collecting the money refused to accept the incomplete fee from him and conflicts intensified from that point.

They started quarrelling which eventually led to a fight. The money collector unleashed a broken bottle and stabbed him three time. The victim is currently battling for his life in the hospital.

 

The victim was rushed to the hospital by officials of the Nigerian police force. The status of the culprit is currently unknown.
