News As Actress Ini Edo Appointed As Special Adviser To Akwa Ibom State Governor

 

This news has it that the Nigerian Actress cum producer, Ini Edo has joined the league of entertainers with political appointments. The actress was has been appointed as Special Adviser (Tourism & Development) to Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
According to reports, she received her appointment letter last week.
The avid shoe lover who boasts of an enviable shoe closet confirmed the news via Instagram where she wrote: “To be called to serve is an honour. I give God all de glory. Am grateful to my state, my Governor, everyone of you with your constant prayers and support… God bless us all. Amen”
Ini Edo joins the
likes of Richard Mofe Damijo, Desmond Elliot, Nkiru Sylvanus, Manuel Udokwu and Kate Henshaw amongst other who have at one time or the other held political positions.
