Saraki Storms Code Of Conduct Tribunal With Number of Lawyers

Latest news has it that the Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki, today appeared at the Code of Conduct Tribunal with 90 lawyers for the continuation of his trial. Recall that the Senate President appeared in the last two sittings represented by 80 lawyers, with 10 added more today.

Kanu Agabi, Saraki’s lead counsel informed the court that 90 lawyers formed the defense team for the Senate president at the tribunal. “We are altogether 90 of us here today”, Mr. Agabi told the tribunal shortly after the commencement of trial.

Meanwhile, the prosecution team also had about 10 lawyers at today’s sitting.
