FG unveils 34 priority projects, ends fuel import in 2019

Latest news report as the Federal Execu­tive Council (FEC) yesterday approved government’s 34 prior­ity projects aimed at putting the country back on track, among which is a three-year target to achieve self-suffi­ciency in refined petroleum products.

The priority projects were contained in a document presented by the Minis­try of Budget and National Planning to FEC which was chaired by Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo.
Briefing State House cor­respondents after the meet­ing, Minister of State for Budget and National Plan­ning, Zaina Ahmed, also disclosed that the Presiden­cy was expecting a final copy of the 2016 Budget from the National Assembly for presi­dential assent today.
