In an interview with CompleteSportsNigeria, Green stated that the federation has done everything required to support the team for
the match.
“The team has been in camp for some days now training for the match and for the period they have spent in camp, we can all see what the coaches have done to prepare the players for the match. So I don’t expect anything short of victory from the players,” he said.
“The results of friendly matches played have been very encouraging and we expect them to do more in the match.
“If they are able to win the match in Burundi as we all expect, then the second leg match will not be problem to them here.”
