Woman Found Living With the Decomposing Body of Her Dead Son for the Past 10 Years

The corpse was discovered by cops in a quiet tree-lined suburb

 

Latest news reaching us as police officers have found skeletal remains in an attic bedroom at the woman's house in Brooklyn,New York. The room was filled with clutter and junk.

 

This development has since given residents some shock.

 

News according to Daily Star UK, the gruesome discovery came after the elderly woman was rushed to hospital following a fall.

 

A family member who stopped by to collect some of her belongings found the son's decomposed body and called police, according to local news reports.

 

The victim, a former cabbie, is thought to have died from natural causes. He is believed to have been in his 50s and suffering from a terminal illness.

 

Relatives revealed how they had not seen the son in 20 years.

 

And neighbours told how his mother was a "recluse", the New York Daily News reports.

 

One neighbour said: "She never said hello.

"She would walk looking down. Something about her always seemed a little weird."

 

Suspicions were also aroused by a tan-coloured Ford Explorer left parked in exactly the same spot for years at the property, in Midwood, Brooklyn, New York.

 

The man's cause of death has yet to be confirmed by a coroner.
