The trending news as A police officer has been killed inside the premises of a court.
It is reported that the officer was shot dead by a suspected robber at the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court, South Africa, today.
It is gathered as News24 reports that a witness, who asked not to be named, said the police officer was escorting the suspect to court.
“While making their way up the stairs, the suspect disarmed the officer and shot him,” the witness said.
Various emergency services declared the officer dead on the scene.
Police said they would comment on the matter at a later stage.
