The fresh gist as the current Senator representing Adamawa North under the All Progressives Congress
party, APC, has, while joking, said that her primary role before joining
the senate is in the kitchen. Senator Binta made the joke at the
Senate’s plenary on Wednesday. Other Senators bursted into a wild laugh
when the senator added that she is proud to be in “the kitchen and the
other room.”
While talking on the
issues of the released Chibok girls, Senator Binta
who also enjoined Nigerians to look at the trauma which the released
girls had gone through called for a psychological rehabilitation to
carried out on the girls to make them forget all they went through
while being captives.
