Sport update reveal that much has been made of the relationship between Ronaldo and Bale since the Welshman signed for Los Blancos back in 2013 for what was at the time, a world record fee.
May be it is understood that tensions have since eased between the
pair and they both made headlines recently for signing bumper new contracts which will make them some of the game's highest paid players.
When asked who he thought his greatest teammate was, Bale told the Mirror: "For me the greatest player is Ryan Giggs. He was my hero growing up and is a legend in world football. It also helps he’s a fellow Welshman."
Giggs earned countless honours in his playing days with Manchester United and would have played alongside a young Cristiano Ronaldo.
