Crime News as Police Apprehend ‘One Chance’ Robbers in Alausa

 

The trending news revealed that the operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have nabbed two robbery suspects who specialize in robbing passengers with a commercial bus.
The suspects have on several occasions dispossessed its unsuspecting passengers of their valuables in Alausa and
its environ.

It is gathered that the suspects; Solomon Oniosun and Idowu Ibrahim were arrested yesterday, June 14, 2017, during one of their operation.
Speaking on the arrest, the Command’s spokesperson, Olarinde Famous-Cole said the
suspects were dispossessing road users of their valuables when they were intercepted on Otedola Bridge.
He said the suspects rode in a commercial bus marked EKY452XJ, adding that they were chased through Alausa.

Famous-Cole states that N125,000 cash and two mobile phones were recovered from the suspects.
He added that the arrested suspects would be charged to court after thorough investigation has been concluded.
