Latest Entertainment Gist as Songwriter, DeCarlo, finally confirms that Phyno indeed stole “I’m a fan.”

 

Current trending gist as the original songwriter of the controversial song ‘I’m a fan’, DeCarlo, has revealed that Pia Mia has the only authorized version of the song. Nigerians had accused Pia of stealing Phyno’s because he released his version before hers.

It is reported that Phyno’s version was released on his sophomore album “The Playmaker” in
2016.

US singer Pia Mia released a similar version of the record on May 26, 2017, in collaboration with R&B singer Jeremih. The songwriter has now come out to
set the record straight.

Pulse had earlier reported about how the demo was sent to Phyno, who with the help of a Nigerian producer named Benjamz, reconstructed it before its release, apparently, without reaching an agreement with DeCarlo.
