Mourinho announced his father’s death via his Instagram with a photo of himself as a
kid alongside his father.
It is reported that the Manchester United boss frequently flew to Portugal last season to visit his father who was battling with a
long-term illness.
Details about the death have not been released and Mourinho has not made any comment apart from the Instagram post.
According to reports from Portugal, the funeral will hold on Thursday, June 29.
