A 25 year old man, Kayode Akanni has been arrested by the Police in Ayetoro Division, Ogun State for allegedly defiling a 3 year old girl.
He was said to have tricked the little girl into his room where he defiled her, damaging her private parts.
The
command spokesman, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, said it was the injuries
inflicted on the girl that exposed Akanni and so he confessed to the
crime.
He said, "During police interrogation, it was discovered that the suspect tricked the young and innocent baby into his room by telling her to bring to him a bunch of keys outside the room. "It was after that he had unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl.
"The suspect has confessed to the crime, while the victim has been taken to hospital for treatment."
According to Punch, the commissioner of police for Ogun State, Mr. Ikemefuna Okoye, has ordered the case be transferred to the
Department of Criminal Investigation, Eleweran, Abeokuta for thorough
investigation. BTW. some men need to be castrated.
