Strange! Calf born with three eyes in India worshipped

Ok! I'm done feeling surprised with some of the bizarre things I read about Indians - they are beautiful people and I guess they are entitled to their own belief systems, norms and mores right?Whatever!

So it turns out that a calf born with three eyes (a third eye in the middle of its forehead) is being worshipped. The calf named Shiva was born two ago in Southern India and according to the beliefs of the Hindus, it is a spiritual icon sent to bless them. 

They say its a miracle Shiva was born with a third eye and that it is a reincarnation of  the Hindu three-eyed god named Shiva. 

 Villagers including children are said to have been touching Shiva on the head, on the grounds that the animal will bring them good fortune.
