News as British Airways reduces fares for customers flying Abuja-London route

Latest news as customers flying British Airways (BA) through its Abuja-London route and vice-versa from the Nnamidi Azikwe International Airport (NAIA) would pay a slashed fare of $277 between May 15, 2017 and June 30, 2017 for one way trip.

While Observing Christmas : Drive with Caution, FRSC Tells Motorists

Xmas latest press release has it that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Lekki, Lagos, has advised motorists to drive with caution during Christmas.

The FRSC Lekki Unit Commander, Mr Olufemi Olonisaye, gave this advice at a programme tagged; Flag Off Motor Park Rally at Ajah, Lagos, on Saturday.


He particularly warned motorists against the use of bad tyres, especially the ones referred to as “tokunbo’’ otherwise called fairly used tyres.

The motor park rally has “Operation Sanity: Driving safely into 2016’’as its theme.

Airport Cleaner arrested By Security Over $271,135

FRSC Impounds 1,293 Vehicles, Penalises 1,402 Offenders

 

This information has it that the Nigerian Federal Road Safety Corps has impounded no fewer than 1,293 vehicles and also penalised 1,402 offenders within three weeks.
According to them, majority of the drivers were driving without licences, while offences such as lane indiscipline, rickety vehicles and overloading accounted for some of the offences for which the violators were prosecuted.
